Q. What is Home Care Service?
A. In-home care service is designed to help people with Activities of Daily Living such as fall prevention, dressing, bathing assistance, grooming, meal preparation, medication reminder, fluid reminder, transportation, running errands, light housekeeping and companionship. All while being in the comfort of your own home.
Q. How does my service begin?
A. Simply call our office at 267-403-3818 to schedule an appointment. A Forever There Home Care Coordinator will meet with you personally for a free in-home, no obligation consultation and develop your care program together. We will then, at your discretion, identify caregivers who have the skills, personality and availability to assist you. You will then meet the caregiver, and if you approve, they will begin working for you.
Q. How much does the service cost?
A. The cost of in-home care will vary based on the individual needs of each client we serve. The cost will be determined during your free in-home consultation and care plan.
Q. How do I pay for service?
A. Services are private pay. Certain long term insurance policies will provide coverage. A Forever There Home Care Coordinator will assist in completing the paperwork. Most credit cards are accepted. Billing is provided on a weekly basis.
Q. Are the caregivers bonded and insured?
A. Yes. All Forever There Home Care Employees are bonded and insured.
Q. What if I have to cancel a visitor or cancel service?
A. At Forever There Home Care we fully understand that changes do occur. We request that you provide us at least 24 hours notice with any changes.
Q. Do you provide care for someone in a nursing home, assisted living facility or hospital?
A. Yes. Forever There Home Care will provide care in all settings. Wherever you call home we will provide care.
Q. How do you select my caregiver?
A. At Forever There Home Care we are committed to only hiring qualified, honest, reliable and kind caregivers. We carefully match your specific needs and requests to the skills of each caregiver to find the ideal companion. All of our caregivers have successfully passed a thorough reference verification, national criminal background check and child abuse clearance. All of our caregivers complete a detailed orientation to ensure safe and high quality care that will exceed your expectations.
Q. What are your hours of service?
A. Forever There Home Care provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. When the office is closed, there is an on-call staff member to assist with any questions or concerns.
Q. What if my caregiver is unable to work their scheduled shift?
A. Forever There Home Care will replace your regular caregiver with someone equally qualified until your regular caregiver is able to return.
